We do not have sea views. Instead we are set in secluded grounds of 2 acres - thus avoiding night-time noise from the High Street and Esplanade. Yet the Wight is just 2 minutes very gentle stroll from the sea and Sandown beach, possibly another minute to the shops. And those grounds have been put to good use to give guests so much in the way of amenities - in good or bad weather! Obviously the mandatory free car park - plus a decent sized indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, solarium, games room, trimnasium, dedicated snooker room and sun terrace.

Add in a large and pleasant bar with a dance floor and regular entertainment. Then enhance with what is probably the best breakfast menu you will ever be offered (on the Isle of Wight or for that matter anywhere!) dinner menus which change daily and offer a choice of courses, efficient but friendly management and staff.  Then quite simply you have found the right IOW hotel - it's The Wight!
