Leisure & Pleasure in the Isle of Wight
So far you have been housed, fed and watered. But now the Wight Montrene really starts to excel! Hopefully the weather will be good and the beaches, town or many places of interest on the Island may beckon. But alternatively you may prefer a lazy day on our large and attractive sun terrace.
Whatever the weather, your IOW holiday has something for everyone…
Spacious heated indoor pool
The Wight’s heated indoor pool has a raised children’s section. Open 7-30am – 8.30pm in summer but closes at 7.00pm in the winter months. It is used by Aquarius Divers for several 2 to 3 hour private sessions per week, during which hotel guests are very welcome to spectate. Guests (and children of 8 years and over) can also get involved – either with a pool “Try Dive” or even one of the many courses! IMPORTANT – Please note that we do not suppy towels for the pool or other leisure activities – please remember to bring your own.

Jacuzzi
Open for the same hours as the pool, always very warm and relaxing. For full turbulation there is a coin in the slot meter.

Sauna cabin
Available free of charge each day from 4.30pm to 6.30pm by notifying Reception of your intent to use (please note that 30 minutes notice is required because of the heat-up period). Outside of those times guests may reserve the cabin (via Reception) for private use at a cost of £3.00 per hour (again the 30 minutes heat-up period is needed).
N.B. No children allowed unless with one of their own parents

Steam room
Our state of the art 6 seater steam room is available free of charge from 9.00am until 1.00pm each day. Thereafter guests may book it (via Reception)for private use at a cost of £3.00 per hour (15 minutes notice required).
Again, no children allowed without one of their own parents.

Solarium
If the weather is not too kind you can always perk up your tan with a little intellegent use of our 48 tube Luxura Delta 500 upright tanning booth – which even has an elevator so that your feet get brown! Tokens and goggles are available from Reception – obviously no children are allowed.

Games room
Is open from 7.30am until 10.00pm and features a pool table, table football and table tennis.

Snooker room
The Wight has a beautiful full-sized dedicated snooker room which guests may use on payment of £5.00 for 4 light-box tokens (about 80 minutes). Children are not normally allowed but consideration will be given to those over 12 years of age who will be playng with a parent.

Trimnasium
We also have a small trimnasium for use of those guests who feel the need of cardio-vascular exercise (or in order to combat the effects of the Wight’s Jurracic Breakfasts!)
