Our "Best of British" IOW restaurant

Our Restaurant Manageress Wendy Fowler, who has been with the hotel for 5 years, will welcome you to our spacious restaurant which has comfortable seating for 110 diners. It opens for Breakfast at 8.15am (last orders by 9.45am) and for Evening Dinner at 6.30pm (last orders by 8.00pm).

Children may either eat with their parents during that time (choosing from either the adult or child menus) or, if parents prefer, can be served from the children's menu at 6.00pm - please arrange for early meals with the restaurant staff during breakfast or with Reception at the latest by 5.30pm.

IOW Functions Meetings & Conferences 

Throughout the year the Wight is a popular venue for all types of social gathering - playing host to weddings, birthday and anniversary parties, association and club dinner dances etc..

Such occasions are greatly enhanced by the layout of the entrance lobby, restaurant, bar and dance floor which, whilst all being separate areas, are all visible one to another and provide the feeling of being in one continuous area.  A further benefit is that the Wight has a permanent dance floor and stage - thus avoiding the problem and disturbance found in many hotels where restaurant tables have to be moved after dinner to clear a space for dancing.

The hotel, with it's wifi access for laptops, is ideal for company meetings, product launches and in-house conferences.  It can also provide facilities for interviews and accommodate groups (whether residential or non-residential) who are attending seminars and training courses.  Your enquiry and all later arrangements will be under the supervision of Karen Evans who now, after 11 years at the hotel, is our Reservations Manageress.
