Our Tariff for 2008 (including return car ferry)

Prices are per person, include for VAT at 17.5% and are for B&B (Room & Breakfast) or DBB (Room, Breakfast & Evening Dinner).  We also offer Room Only i.e. accommodation without meals - in which case please deduct £6.00 (Adult) £4.00 (10-16 year old) and £2.00 (2-9 year old child) per night from the Room & Breakfast rates shown below.  Please note that we do not offer Room & Evening Dinner i.e. Dinner but no Breakfast, and no reduction can be made for meals (Breakfast or Dinner) which are occasionally not taken.  The prices include for return car ferries (please ask us to quote if you prefer to book just the hotel) and are based on a minimum of two adults per car using ferries from Southampton.  Ferries from Lymington & Portsmouth are also available at a small additional cost.  Child prices apply only when sharing a room with two adults. Children under two years of age are charged at £5.00 per day all year.

Isle of Wight Ferry Surcharges

A surcharge of £13.00 per car is made by the ferry company for travel to or from the Island on the following dates:  21 to 24 March,  23, 24 & 26 May,  12, 13 & 16 June,  19 & 26 July,  2, 9, 16, 22, 23, 25 & 30 August,  5 & 8 September (Bestival - dates to be confirmed).  Ferries from Lymington & Portsmouth vary slightly and will be detailed in any quotation.

Easter Weekend on the Isle of Wight

Easter Weekend 2008 - 3 nights half board - Friday 21st to Monday 24th April

Your Easter Break will include bed, breakfast and evening meal with a free Easter Egg for the children. Live entertainment and Isle of Wight Car Ferry fare (including the Bank Holiday ferry surcharges shown above.)
Minimum 2 adults travelling - £189.00 per person. (Children: 15-16 - £141, 10-14 - £123, 6-9 - £90, 2-5 - £60).  Any additional days i.e. if you stay longer than 3 nights - will be charged at the "Extra Night" rates shown in the Low-Season tariff above. Stays of less than 3 nights duration are charged at the High Season tariff above plus any Bank Holiday ferry surcharge. 

IOW Spring Bank Holiday (last weekend in May - Saturday 24th)

Stays over the weekend of up to and including 3 nights duration are charged at £181.00 per person. (Children: 15-16 - £149, 10-14 - £108, 6-9 - £81, 2-5 - £51) but the ferry surcharge of £13.00 per car per crossing is payable for travel on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th & Monday 26th May.  Any additional days i.e. if you stay longer than 3 nights - will be charged at the "Extra Night" rates shown in the Mid-Season (A) tariff above.  Stays of less than 3 nights duration are charged at the High Season tariff above plus any Bank Holiday ferry surcharge.    

Suites and Superior Rooms at The Wight, Sandown

Four Poster and Honeymoon Suites are available with large bed-sitting rooms at a supplement of £30.00 to £40.00 per suite per night.  The Wight also has Family Suites and Units (with separate sleeping area for the children, two TV's etc.) which are ideal for families with two or more children - the additional cost for these varies from £15.00 to £30.00 per suite per night.  Last but not least we have some Superior Double, Twin and Single Rooms at supplements of between £10.00 and £15.00 per room per night.

Ad Hoc Meals

Our inclusive prices (£6.00 for Breakfast and £12.00 (£14.00 in High Season) for Evening Dinner) represent excellent value for money - but are only available when booked in advance and then on the clear understanding that no reduction will be made for any meals thereafter not taken.  If however you elect for the greater freedom of reserving either Room Only or Room & Breakfast then the following prices will apply for any ad hoc meals which may thereafter be requested:  Breakfast - £9.00 (if Room Only has been booked) and/or Evening Dinner - £18.00 (£21.00 in High Season) with pro-rata increases in all cases for children.  Such meals are of course also subject to space availability in the Restaurant.

Reservations - Deposits, Cancellation & Insurance

A deposit of £60.00 per adult and £30.00 per child is required to confirm your reservation and it should be noted that deposits are non-returnable.  A telephone reservation may be confirmed immediately by credit card (Access, American Express, Delta, Electron, Maestro, Maestro Int., Mastercard, Solo and Visa cards are accepted).  If however you elect to send a cheque the accommodation will be held for a maximum of 3 working days pending it's arrival.  Once accommodation has been booked the client and hotel have entered into a legal binding contract.  In the event of a cancellation both parties should endevour to relet the accommodation: should they not succeed then the person making the reservation is legally liable to pay for the accommodation, less an allowance (generally one third) for food/services not received.  We strongly recommend that this liability should be covered by insurance.

Balance Payment

Payment of the balance of your account may be made in cash, by credit card (see list above) or by UK mainland cheque.  Please note that unless 6 clear working days are available we cannot accept personal cheques unless covered by guarantee card (maximimum therefore £100.00).

Arrival & Departure

Rooms are available from 2pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Accommodation of Pets

Pets are usually accepted but we reserve the right of refusal.  Please enquire for details.

Towels

We do not supply towels for the beach, pool, jacuzzi, sauna or steam room - so please remember to bring your own.
