N.B.  PRICES INCLUDE RETURN CAR FERRY

Prices are per person, include for VAT at 20% and are for B&B (Room & Breakfast) or DBB (Room, Breakfast & Evening Dinner).  We also offer Room Only i.e. accommodation without meals - in which case please deduct £7.00 (Adult) £5.00 (10-16 year old) and £2.00 (2-9 year old child) per night from the Room & Breakfast rates shown below.  N.B. Room & Dinner i.e. without Breakfast, is not available and no reduction can be made for meals (Breakfast or Dinner) which are occasionally not taken.  The prices include for return car ferries (please ask us to quote if you prefer to book just the hotel) and are based on a minimum of two adults per car using ferries from Southampton.  Ferries from Lymington & Portsmouth are also available at a small additional cost.  Child prices apply only when sharing a room with two adults. Children under two years of age are charged at £5.00 per day all year.

Weekend Surcharges

Where the length of stay is less than 4 nights and includes a Friday and/or Saturday night a surcharge of up to £5.00 per person per night may at times be payable

Isle of Wight Ferry Surcharges

A surcharge of £17.00 per car per crossing is made by the ferry company for travel to or from the Island on Saturdays during the school summer holidays and also on Bank Holiday Weekends, the Isle of Wight Festival and the Bestival.  These will be detailed in any quotation.

Easter Weekend on the Isle of Wight - 2012

Easter Weekend 2012 - 3 nights half board - Friday 6th to Monday 9th April

Your Easter Break will include bed, breakfast and evening meal with a free Easter Egg for the children. Live entertainment and Isle of Wight Car Ferry fare (including the Bank Holiday ferry surcharges shown above.)
Minimum 2 adults travelling - £220.00 per person. (Children: 15-16 - £147, 10-14 - £123, 6-9 - £90, 2-5 - £60).  Any additional days i.e. if you stay longer than 3 nights - extra nights will be charged at the "Extra Night" rates shown on the Mid Season (A) tariff above but will be offset by not incurring ferry surcharge/. Stays of less than 3 nights duration are charged at the High Season tariff above plus any Bank Holiday ferry surcharge. 

IOW June Double Bank Holiday (Saturday 2nd - Tuesday 5th June)

Your break will include bed, breakfast and evening meal with live entertainment each evening.  The Isle of Wight Ferry fare (including the Bank Holiday ferry surcharges shown above) are included in the following prices.  Minimum of 2 adults traveling  - £230.00 per person. (Children: 15-16 - £147, 10-14 - £123, 6 - 9 - £90 and 2-5 - £60.  Any additional days i.e. if you stay for more than 3 nights - extra nights will be charged at the "Extra Night" rates shown on the Mid-Season (B) tariff above and dependent upon days of travel your costs may be reduced by avoiding the £17.00 per leg ferry surcharges - but outward travel on both 1st and 2nd of June plus return travel on 4th, 5th, 9th and 10th June still involve the ferry surcharge. 

Superior Accommodation at The Wight, Sandown

Four Poster and Honeymoon Suites are available with large bed-sitting rooms at a supplement of £30.00 to £40.00 per suite per night.  The Wight also has Family Archways and Units (with separate sleeping area for the children, two TVs etc) which are ideal for families with two or more children - the additional cost for these varies from £15.00 to £30.00 per night per Archway or Unit.  Whilst no additional charge is made for Single Rooms we do charge a supplement when our smaller Double and Twin-Bedded Rooms are used as singles i.e. for just one person.

Ad Hoc Meals

Our inclusive prices (£7.00 for Breakfast and £14.00 (£16.00 in High Season) for Evening Dinner) represent excellent value for money - but are only available when booked in advance and then on the clear understanding that no reduction will be made for any meals thereafter not taken.  If you elect for the greater freedom of reserving either Room Only or Room & Breakfast then the following prices will apply for any ad hoc meals which may thereafter be requested:  Breakfast - £10.50 (if Room Only has been booked) and/or Evening Dinner - £21.00 (£24.00 in High Season) with pro-rata increases in all cases for children.  Such meals are of course also subject to space availability in the Restaurant.

Reservations - Deposits, Cancellation & Insurance

A deposit of £60.00 per adult and £30.00 per child is required to confirm your reservation and it should be noted that deposits are non-returnable.  A telephone reservation may be confirmed immediately by credit card (Access, American Express, Delta, Electron, Maestro, Maestro Int., Mastercard, Solo and Visa cards are accepted).  If however you elect to send a cheque the accommodation will be held for a maximum of 3 working days pending its arrival.  Once accommodation has been booked the client and hotel have entered into a legal binding contract.  In the event of a cancellation both parties should endevour to relet the accommodation: should they not succeed then the person making the reservation is legally liable to pay for the accommodation, less an allowance (generally one third) for food/services not received.  We strongly recommend that this liability should be covered by insurance.

Balance Payment

Payment of the balance of your account may be made in cash, by credit card (see list above) or by UK mainland cheque.  Please note that unless 6 clear working days are available we cannot accept personal cheques.

Arrival & Departure

Rooms are available from 2pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Accommodation of Pets

Pets are usually accepted but we reserve the right of refusal.  Please enquire for details.

Towels

We do not supply towels for the beach, pool, jacuzzi, sauna or steam room - so please remember to bring your own.
